In one instance, it collaborated with LUCI (https://luci.com/), a med-tech company, to combine IoT technologies and AWS cloud services to provide wheelchair users with a digitally-transformed platform for a safer, more stable, and navigable world. Working with the client, it developed a device that could be attached to motorized wheelchairs to create a field of awareness based on the data collected simultaneously from numerous IoT sensors, including stereo vision, infrared, ultrasonic, and radar. This data is processed for real-time avoidance of collisions, obstacles, and terrain shifts. The solution was complete with a mobile app, online dashboard, and voice-first connection with Alexa Voice Service to enable system management and remote monitoring.
