Arvig has upgraded its equipment to enable wifi 6 network compatibility to provide users with stronger and smoother wifi connections

WiFi 6, which employs the new 802.11ax standard, promises a 40 percent improvement in throughput for enabled wireless devices while being backwards compatible with prior generations. In dense areas, such as apartment buildings, airports, and stadiums, the standard provides for up to a four-fold boost in wireless performance. WiFi 6 is projected to improve not only signal range and reliability but also network efficiency and battery life for IoT devices that are supported.
WiFi 6 arrives at a time when technology is rapidly advancing, both in terms of mobile device use and the development of the Internet of Things (IoT). According to a whitepaper from cloud service and software company Calix, there will be 5 billion linked devices in North America by 2023, up from eight in 2018. That's 13 gadgets per person, up from eight in 2018.
