According to a recent statement from Bigleaf Networks, David Idle has joined Bigleaf as the organization's Chief Product Officer. Bigleaf's network optimization company offers thousands of internet-dependent enterprises stable connectivity with its cloud-first SD-WAN solution.
As the business continues to grow its operations and add new clients and partners, Idle's appointment as CPO completes a string of additions to the Bigleaf leadership team.
Idle joins Bigleaf from Verizon, where he served as the executive director for small and medium-sized business products, overseeing the commercialization of 4G and 5G technologies for SMB and mid-market customers. Idle has previously held executive positions at Web.com, XO Communications, and Sprint, where he oversaw the creation of innovative products and effective sales tactics to manage and drive successful revenue growth.
"Bigleaf is poised to revolutionize the networking industry for countless organizations that depend on flawless network performance as a core part of their operational success," said Idle. "I've been incredibly impressed by Bigleaf's unique positioning and rapid growth in a highly dynamic market. I look forward to leveraging my experience to help Bigleaf innovate and expand into new markets and geographies," he added.
IT firms are managing more endpoints, networks, and connected apps than ever as the globe grows progressively more reliant on the internet. Business-critical applications may fail due to the slowdowns and outages that ensue when those connections are broken. Costly outages and unanticipated disruptions are not something IT teams can afford. Bigleaf's distinctive Cloud-Access Network serves as an internet and cloud connectivity foundation that can easily overlay any current ISP or firewall installation without pricy and complicated deployments, making it ideal for remote companies.
