Networks are complex, and problems do occur. Many reasons contribute to the frustration experienced by users of a network that previously provided adequate performance.
Fremont, CA: Network performance can be disrupted by many things that can go wrong on business networks. For example, users often complain about slow application performance, and there are many possible reasons for these hiccups. Some of the most common network problems are listed below:

Slow network
There is a complaint that the network is too slow. Many reasons contribute to the frustration experienced by users of a network that previously provided adequate performance. Perhaps a new application has been added, such as video conferencing or online training videos. When a switch port or link fails, traffic may route around the failure and overload another link.
Another possibility is that the network is part of a more extensive organizational network.
The Wi-Fi signal is weak
The Wi-Fi signal strength may be adequate almost everywhere but weak or nonexistent elsewhere. In spite of the fact that the signal strength was adequate before the move, rearranging an office area can result in weak wireless connections. Wi-Fi signals can be blocked by large metal objects, such as file cabinets.
Wi-Fi signals can also be interfered with by microwave ovens, cordless phones, and Bluetooth devices. The source of the problem can be identified with a Wi-Fi network test tool.
Physical connectivity issues
An issue with physical connectivity can cause a network connection to break suddenly. A loose or damaged network cable is a common problem. Cables can be added or removed from a switch by mistake, and one of the other cables can be disconnected.
In the course of working on the air conditioning or heating pipes, a cable was pulled around a sharp edge and damaged. The segment of the network that was affected should clearly indicate which cable was damaged.
CPU usage that is excessive
In the Task Manager, you can find out which applications are consuming a high percentage of system resources, such as CPU, memory, or disk space. The basic troubleshooting step may not reveal a problem since some applications may perform complex calculations, receive high-speed video or interact with large databases.
A slow DNS lookup
DNS matches the server or service name with the internet address that routes network requests. There is probably already a match for commonly used names in the DNS cache, so the lookup is quick. It is possible that the matchup for less commonly used names is stored further away, at the root server of the top-level name, such as .com, .org, or even the national root, such as .uk.
