Network address translation (NAT) firewalls: A NAT firewall is capable of analyzing internet traffic and filtering out unwanted communications. In other words, it accepts inbound web traffic only if a device requests it on the private network.
Virtual Firewalls: A virtual firewall is an appliance used in both private and public cloud-based systems. This firewall type monitors and manages internet traffic across both physical and virtual networks.
