In the Unified Communications arena, CIOs currently have to deal with islands of technology, poor adoption, and the continuation of dire investments without a clear strategy to support their UC investments. In a similar instance, Diversified helped a military client to move from legacy PBX to a state-of-the-art UC solution on a new data center infrastructure for 40 buildings that consisted of nearly 9,000 phones. “This military client was leveraging CISCO based technology with imperative missions and could not experience any unexpected downtime or degradation in their communication,” adds Spearman. Diversified was able to build a parallel data center environment and UC infrastructure without any disruptions to set the stage for the phone cut. Each building swap was strategically planned to systematically perform cutovers of specific users and buildings without degrading communications or changing dialing habits.

Spearman believes that presenting experience with video communications combined the added ability of relating it back to a technology infrastructure the client has or wants is what truly differentiates Diversified.
